Brian Gohr, MS. ED, CSCS joins Best Care EAP as a trainer/consultant bringing quality, customized managment and wellness training to organziations and their employees.
Brian believes managing people is a lot like sports. The outcome depends on your preparation. Do you have the necessary knowledge and resources to attract, engage, develop, motivate and retain your workplace athletes? Are you setting yourself up to win? As a former athlete and coach, Brian learned early on the value of leadership preparation in the workplace.
Prior to joining Best Care in 2009, Brian spent nearly fifteen years teaching people of diverse backgrounds how to better themselves physically, mentally and financially; coaching some of Omaha’s top executives on how to increase their physical and mental “toughness”.
Over the years, Brian has earned himself a reputation for “building effective work teams and developing other’s leadership potential.” Brian holds a Masters of Education in Health Sciences from Northwest Missouri State and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Wayne State College. Building on his expertise in developing leadership teams, Brian also serves on a number of committees including the Physical Education Development Committee for Vatterott College and the Wellness Committee for the Boy Scouts of America, Mid America Council.
Brian and his wife Kristen enjoy spending time with their two-human sized dogs and figuring out what they actually bought at Costco for $200 bucks.
